Senior License Fees

Qualifications for One (1) Free License:

1. Must be a resident of the City of Torrance
2. Your Pet must be Spayed or Neutered
3. You are a minimum of 62 years of age or you are permanently disabled
4. Your total household income is no greater than $23,275* for the prior calendar year
5. Once approved you must reapply every two years.

*Household income is updated every year - it's two and one half (2.5) times the Federal Poverty Guidelines for a Family Unit size of one (1) in the 48 contiguous state and D.C.

If you have met the qualifications above and have a letter of qualification from the City of Torrance Finance Department, please submit a photocopy of that letter along with your license application. Since you must reapply every two years, please submit a copy of this letter each year to obtain one free license.
