Licensing Ordinance

All dogs over 16 weeks old must be licensed with the City of Anacortes.

Due Date

Payment for your license is due January 1st. If you are licensing for the first time, you must purchase a license within 30 days of obtaining a pet over the age of 16 weeks or within 30 days of moving into the City of Anacortes.

License Term

Licenses are valid for the entire calendar year in which they are purchased and must be renewed by January 1st each year, and fees cannot be prorated. A current rabies certificate is required for licensing.
