Rabies vaccination certificates are not required at this time to purchase a license. Late fees are waived on all licenses until further notice.

License Transfer

A transfer license may be purchased for $5.00. Licenses may be transferred:

From one owner to another owner for the same pet. Please submit proof of current license, prior owner information and signature and new owner information and signature, along with a check or money order for $5.00.
From another city or county. Please submit proof of current license along with new City of Kirkland address, and a check or money order for $5.00. Transferred licenses shall maintain the original license's expiration date.
