Licensing Ordinance
All dogs 4 months of age and older must be licensed with the City of Prescott within 60 days of being in the city. All City of Prescott dog licenses expire on December 31 each year.

Due Date
Payment for your license is due by January 1 of each year. If you are licensing for the first time, you must purchase a license within 60 days of obtaining a pet over the age of 4 months or within 60 days of moving into the City of Prescott.
A late fee of $8 is added to the license fee if your license is not purchased by March 31.
License Term
All City of Prescott dog licenses expire on December 31, and must be renewed by January 1. A late fee will apply for licenses renewed after March 31. Rabies vaccinations must be valid at least through October 1 in order to receive a license.
