Licensing Ordinance

All dogs and cats must be licensed with the City within 30 days of the pet turning 4 months, the acquisition of the pet, or the owner moving into the City of Lynwood.

Due Date

Payment for your license is due within 10 days of the expiration of your current license. If you are licensing for the first time, you must purchase a license within 30 days of acquiring a pet over 4 months old, or moving into the City of Lynwood.

The license fee doubles if your license is not purchased within 10 days of the license expiration date.

License Term

Licenses are valid for up to 1 year from date of purchase but not beyond the rabies expiration date. The rabies vaccination must be current at the time of licensing.
